Setting the Standards

In the early 1900s, the Maurice A. Knight Company raised the status of American stoneware for chemical applications with its innovation of KNIGHT-WARE® products made from vitreous ceramic. That tradition of dependable corrosion prevention has continued with the company’s acquisition in 1981 by Koch.

Today, our engineers are skilled at working with chemical process units such as direct-contact cooling and drying of chlorine cell gas, HCL recovery, production of anhydrous HCL, fume disposal systems, autoclaves, quench towers, sulfuric acid production and more.

A Supportive Network

Based in Canton, Ohio, Koch Knight is part of Koch Chemical Technology Group, LLC. We are a single-source solution for many customers through our access to the related product lines of other Koch companies. This includes diagnostic scans, combustion burners, modular mass-transfer skids, state-of-the-art packing supports and heat-transfer technologies, just to name a few.

On a greater scale, Koch Chemical Technology Group is a subsidiary of Koch Industries, Inc., one of the largest private companies in America. Koch Industries traditionally reinvests 90 percent of earnings back into its businesses such as biofuels, fertilizers, energy, process and pollution-control equipment, bulk commodities, technology, and various manufacturing initiatives.
