FLEXISADDLE® Random Packing is the most widely used random heat transfer ceramic tower packing in the market, with over 600 installations worldwide. The FLEXISADDLE™ Random Packing unique form provides a highly effective surface area and a low resistance to the airflow for mass and heat transfer optimization. The high quality ceramic composition and design provides the greatest value for any application.

FLEXISADDLE® LPD® (Low Pressure Drop) Ceramic Random Packing provides a high open area and aerodynamic design resulting in 20% lower pressure drop and up to 40% reduced particulate retention compared to standard saddle media. The three (3) ribbed design maintains heat transfer capability through more efficient use of the media's surface area and provides a lower pressure drop savings offering the RTO designer reduced fan costs or smaller unit designs. Our LPD® Random Packing and has become the market choice for OSB Dryer RTO Installations. Our media meets the ASTM C 515 specifications for porcelain packing.

FLEXISADDLE® GR (Glaze Resistant) Ceramic Random Packing has been engineered to resist even the most intense forms of alkali attack, giving the user longer life and higher resistance to thermal cycling damage than other materials. Our formulation exhibits outstanding strength retention after thermal shock cycling (400°F into water for 10 cycles) with a remarkable 0% reduction in strength compared to typical saddles, which is normally 37%. GR can be manufactured in LPD® geometry that results in over 20% lower pressure drop than the standard saddle.

KRYPTOKNIGHT™ Inert Ceramic Balls- A very versatile alumina ceramic support media used for multiple applications from reformers, converters, crackers, refinery and dryers.

  • Type "A" Ball - (99% Alumina) Used where steam is present and may cause leaching of silica from typical alumina silicate media.
  • Type " H" Ball - (Premium) Designed for applications in the petroleum refining and chemical manufacturing processes.
  • Type "M" Ball - (Economical) Primarily for dryer and refinery applications.

Raschig Rings - Designed for high structural strength with no soluble bond, low coefficient of thermal expansion, high temperature capabilities, excellent corrosion resistance to acidic and caustic environments, light weight and fully carbonized to eliminate extractable impurities.
